PostalCAD Refresh

​

A two-day course designed for students having previous experience and training in PostalCAD, but having not used it in a long time. Students' skills are refreshed and updated for working with the full power of PostalCAD 2020 in their work flows. Exercises are organized into two segments, each covering selected material from the Introduction to PostalCAD and the PostalCAD Plant Layout courseware. Completion of this course gives students a renewed confidence in being proficient with using PostalCAD 2020.

 

This hands-on course will take students through the following application areas:

Two-Day Course Featuring:

​

  • Loading PostalCAD 2020 2D and 3D workspaces

  • Everyday drawing tools and accuracy

  • Editing commands and object properties

  • Organizing and applying standardized layers

  • Creating and inserting blocks 

  • Adding and editing text and dimensions

  • Workroom layouts for both Processing and Delivery Units

  • LMP concepts and application, including sign ordering

  • Creating fire evacuation routes and CTC handouts

  • Diagramming work flows

  • Conveyor design and quantity reporting

  • Space Management concepts and application

  • Transport Work layout visualizations, reporting and analysis

  • Multiple ways to print and export drawing information
