PostalCAD 2006 to 2009 Updates & Features Class
 

The goal of this course is to give students a comprehensive understanding of the new interface and features for PostalCAD 2009. References to the previous PostalCAD 2006 release will be covered to familiarize users quickly with the new update that has been released throughout the entire USPS. This course includes reviews and use of all the Autodesk Map 3D 2009 and PostalCAD 2009 utilities and covers extensively the latest functionality and utilities added to the PostalCAD 2009 release. This course is invaluable to enhance the working knowledge of a completely revamped interface for the PostalCAD 2009 release. This full featured course will train students in the following topics:

  • Revised and updated PostalCAD 2009 tools and utilities
  • New AutoCAD 2009 tools and utilities
  • New PostalCAD 2009 tools and utilities
  • Overview of new equipment library files
  • External reference applications and use
  • DWF file type introduction and use within the USPS
  • Creating DWF files within PostalCAD 2009 for project collaboration
  • Introduction and use of Autodesk Design Review 2009
  • Working with DWF markup tools
  • Using DWF files as underlay references
  • Paperspace layout tab use with quick viewing capabilities
  • Formal USPS page layouts with information bar
  • Creating and plotting image file formats
