In
an effort to provide better and more diverse training to US Postal
employees using PostalCAD, all PostalCAD training was
turned over to Neosys Corporation in 2000. Neosys is the US Postal Service contractor developing PostalCAD. During
the past several years, there have been many requests from the field to
provide more advanced AutoCAD and PostalCAD
training. In order to meet
these requests, Neosys Corporation has stepped up to provide new classes
customized for the Postal Service’s needs. We
currently offer the following courses to US Postal employees:
These courses
are listed on
the AES, however, registration must be processed through
Neosys.
Our comprehensive classes are
conducted at the
William
F. Bolger Center for Leadership Development, a training and conference
center located in Potomac, Maryland - a suburb of Washington, D.C..
The Neosys classroom provides a networked
environment with a color printer, state of the
art, high resolution projection system and an array of new, Pentium IV,
2.4Ghz system computers with
flat screen monitors.
Our two highly qualified instructors have combined experience of over
thirty one years working with both AutoCAD and PostalCAD.
These instructors have taught hundreds of hours of classes , performed
countless hours of production drafting and created presentations in both 2D
and 3D, managed teams of drafters, and developed AutoCAD and PostalCAD
software. The advanced courses use the instructors'
many years of working knowledge
with US Postal process and integration to
give unparralleled insight to the advanced PostalCAD
student. These attributes are compiled into a unique and
unmatched classroom presentation tailored specifically to US Postal
Service needs.
The custom courseware
distributed to students was also compiled specifically
for US Postal Service applications. Examples and exercises
use actual working facility layouts and equipment pertinent to real life
scenarios and layouts. The AutoCAD Fundamentals
course also relys heavily on Postal Service examples and concepts
as a basis for the instruction.
