Command line options have been around for many years and there are
a few that can be very helpful when it comes to selecting objects.
This week we'll review the Crossing Polygon.
Whenever a complex selection set is needed a crossing polygon can give
you more versatility than a normal box shape of the crossing option and
more of a selection than the fence option.

To start the crossing polygon selection option, type CP at the command
line during any command with a select objects prompt. Pick as many
points as needed to capture the selection set.
