Tip 7/12/10
Tip for Week 7/12/10

Do you ever need to find a block in your drawing, but don't know where to start looking?.
This week we'll investigate the Select Block tool and Flash Previous to help in the search.

The first thing you'll need to do is make a selection set of the block you're looking for.
Shift-Right click and pick Select Block from the bottom of the pop-up list.

You now are presented with 2 options:
Select the block from a list, or select an existing instance.
To select a block from a list, issue a return at the command line.

Once the selection set is made, simply Shift-Right click and pick Flash Previous
and watch the screen for the selection set to flash 5 times. If you can't see the objects
completely, just zoom in to the small flashes and use the Flash Previous command again.
