Well, here's a quick way to copy an existing layout tab with all the same information and objects.
After you have created a layout tab that you need to copy, simply hold down the Control key, left-click and hold on the tab to be copied, and drag to the new location.

*Tip: You can select more than one tab to copy by holding the CTRL key
and pick tabs with a single left click until the selection set is complete.
