When you are working in the layout tabs the view scale becomes very important in the viewports.
Here is a quick way to see what the current viewport scale is set to if the viewport frame is not visible. |
|
The lower right corner of the application window has a set of status bar buttons that look
differently when in the Model tab, Layout tab, or in Model space mode of a viewport. |

To find out what view scale a viewport is currently set to, enter Model Space
mode of a viewport by double-clicking inside of the border and look
at the status bar icons in the lower right corner again. |

A new area appears in the middle of the icons showing the current scale, 1/16"=1' in this example. |

This area is a cascading list that can also be used to change the current scale
to a pre-defined list of common scales. |
