Tip 3/22/10
Tip for Week 3/22/10

Last week we showed you how to manipulate the new locked layer fading by using the classic command line. This week we'll show you how to use a nested settings dialogue box.

PostalCAD 2009 has an excellent set of utilities to set and resore your running object snaps very easily.

Follow the steps below to set and restore a group of running snaps at the command line quickly.

Remember that the utility allows for five sets of running snaps to be saved. The full set of commands
to set and restore running snaps is in the Ribbon under the Tools tab, Object Snapping Tools panel.

Right-click on your OSNAP icon at the bottom of your screen and click on the Settings... listing.

Make the selection set of your most used running object snaps.

Click on the OK button to close the dialogue box.

Back at the command line, simply enter OS1 at the command prompt and your set of snaps is saved.
Entering S1 will restore the preset list at any time in the future.
