Last week we showed you how to manipulate the new locked layer fading by using the classic command line. This week we'll show you how to use a nested settings dialogue box.
PostalCAD 2009 now allows DWF files to be overlayed into a drawing just like external
references can be attached. The best part about the DWF overlay is that there are more
options available to manipulate them verses an externally referenced file.
This week we'll see how to make a DWF overlay monochrome in order to make them
stand out from the surrounding objects with color.
DWF with monochrome property set to No
DWF with monochrome property set to Yes
Double-click on your DWF overlay to open the Properties palette on the right side of your screen.
In the Underlay Adjust area, change the Monochrome property to Yes.
This property is great for visually focusing the DWF during presentations at your desk or to print for others to see where a potential location may be for future items. Use your imagination and skills for best use.
