Last week we showed you how to manipulate the new locked layer fading by using the classic command line. This week we'll show you how to use a nested settings dialogue box.
Expand the Layer Properties Palette by moving your cursor to the left side of the screen
Select the Settings button from the top right corner
Now in the Layer Settings dialogue box, adjust the fading by holding down the left mouse button on the black vertical settings bar and moving left or right until you have the correct fading percentage. Click on the OK button to exit the settings dialogue box.
