The more you use PostalCAD 2009, the more you'll discover.
In earlier versions of AutoCAD you could hide the Model and Layout tabs in the options dialogue box. This was OK, but it took several steps to suppress them and it took several steps to get them back. The other drawback to suppressing the tabs was that to switch between the Model tab and a Layout tab you needed to use the ancient TILEMODE system variable.

(Previous options method)
With 2009, Just right-click on any tab at the bottom of the drawing
window and select "Hide Layout and Model tabs".
The lower right side of the status bar will now change icons.
From this, to this 
The new set of icons that replaces the MODEL icon will allow you
to switch between the Model tab and the last current Layout tab.
To show the original style tabs, simply right-click on one of these two new icons
and choose "Display Layout and Model tabs".
