A very subtle new feature in PostalCAD 2009 deals with the template you are presented with for the QNEW command.

Earlier versions required you to manually specify a template file to use for the QNEW command. The discussion and steps for setting this variable has always been included in the classroom training, but users who never took the training would have to suffer through changing the settings of the Autodesk supplied file every time a user needed to start a new file.

The installation for 2009 automatically inserts the correct path in the options dialogue box to a standardized template using architectural units and PostalCAD pre-set styles.
