Ever need to add an Excel spreadsheet to your AutoCAD drawing? Here's an easy way to add any amount of a spreadsheet you want.
Open Excel and highlight the cells that you want to insert into your drawing. Make sure you don't select the upper left corner between the row and column designators, only the individual cells. Right-click and pick Copy from the popup list. Return to your drawing file in AutoCAD and from the Edit menu choose Paste Special. In the dialogue box select AutoCAD entities and pick OK. You can now paste the cells where ever you like.
The process is so easy that the linking ability doesn't even need to be evoked. |
