How can you make the cursor separate from the cross-hairs in the AutoCAD drawing window?
Can't get any easier than this, hold down the ALT key and the cursor can now be moved away from the cross-hairs. You are actually in menu mode, and AutoCAD wants you to select a menu shortcut key that is underlined to activate the corresponding menu pull-down.
