Is your Layer Properties dialogue box cluttered up with the Filters and Groups section?  Do you ever wish it would just go away?

Well, it's very easy to unclutter that Layer dialogue box!  Right-click on any layer listing in the right-hand side of the dialogue box.  The first listing in the pop-up is Show Filter Tree.  Left click on this listing to remove the checkmark and exit the pop-up.  TaDa! No more filter tree, life just got a lot simpler.
