Need to make a quick layout and simply name it at the command line?
No problem! Go to the Insert menu pull-down and expand the Layout cascade. Pick New Layout and you will be prompted to enter a name at the command line. Hit the enter key after typing the name and you're done.
The Layout toolbar also has the same functionality as the menu listing by selecting the new layout button.
Another option for creating a new layout is to type LAYOUT at the command line, select the New option by entering N, and then enter your new layout name to finish. This isn't as quick as the first two options, but it will get you there.
The last option to you this week would be to right click on an existing layout tab and select the New Layout listing to create a new tab. Unfortunately, you will need to rename this new tab after creation, not during. |
