Tip for Week 6/30/08

Have ever been editing a drawing and need to select all of the objects on a designated layer?

Well, fear not!  Simply right-click when holding down the SHIFT key and pick the Select Layer listing.  The command line will then give you an option to pick an object or select from a list to choose the correct layer.  A command line version of this utility is also available by typing SLA.

Now, at any select object prompt enter P for previous to reselect the objects on the frozen layer and modify as needed.

Be careful when using the erase command on your layer selection set.
