Want to preview your model space window quickly, as though it were printed on a piece of paper?  No problem, Enter TBC at the command line and hit Enter.  Your screen will toggle to white for the previewing.  Enter TBC again and hit Enter and the screen will toggle to black.  This great shortcut is named Toggle Background Color, hence TBC.

This toggle is also great for forcing a white background if you create an image or use cut and paste to another program for printing.  If the background is left black and a program prints it that way, you'll need to install a new black ink cartridges every other day.

I quick note about using the black background color.  Black is most preferred by users in model space because the contrast between all colors and black is excellent.  If you model with a white background most of the lighter colors are hard on the eye to see, so keep the background black until you switch over to the Layout tabs.
