It's great that you can cut and paste from an AutoCAD drawing to MS Word or Excel easily, but what if you want to retain that black background to make your objects appear clearer?

Set the WMFBKGND file variable to OFF and the background will not be honored, set to ON and the background color will be honored in the receiving document.
