Do your OSNAP settings get changed by accident sometimes?
The variable that stores your OSNAP settings is the OSMODE file variable. One way to set your typical, running Osnaps is by right-clicking on the OSNAP button at the bottom of your screen and choosing Settings. Check those you use most often, such as endpoint, center, and, intersection. Pick the OK button to exit the dialogue box.
Another method to remember your settings and re-set them is to enter OSMODE at the command line, after you have set the group you use the most, and remember the number shown or write it in a convenient place. The example I gave would be 37. Now, anytime the settings change or become nil, enter your number at an OSMODE command prompt to re-set them a little quicker than using the dialogue box.
OSMODE is a transparent command that could be invoked while another command is active, if you proceed the variable name with an apostrophe. |
