PostalCAD 2006 will now allow you to insert a door symbol into an existing opening.

Type in EDR to activate the command or go to the Layout menu pull-down and expand the Architectural cascade.  Simply pick the two diagonal corners of the opening and then pick where to hinge the door.  Instant door block.  There are command line options for single or double, if needed.
