Need to start the Dtext command and create some text on the same layer and with the same criteria as an existing piece of text?  Simply use the Pick Draw tool in PostalCAD. Type PD at the command line and pick an existing piece of text. the command will match the picked text and put the new text entities on the same layer.  This tool works on any object that you can pick in Model space.
