I can't get the black background to appear in another document when I cut and paste from AutoCAD!

Before AutoCAD 2004 came out the clipboard objects retained the current background color of your AutoCAD application window.  AutoCAD 2004 and above does not honor this property.  The background will always be white.  To retain the background color use the JPGOUT command, then paste the saved J-peg file into your other document.
