Neosys Corporation,® in conjunction with the United States Postal Service, announces the release of
PostalCAD 2006, a software tool designed specifically for
use in Postal
facility layout, design and documentation.
Neosys
is the US Postal Service contractor that develops PostalCAD. The Systems/Process
Integration department of the U.S. Postal Service Engineering division makes this
software available to all qualified Postal Service users.
PostalCAD 2006
features a new array of
applications and upgrades: |
- New
for 2006 is the Fire Evacuation Route utilities with
easy setup and labeling blocks
- New interface in
the Layer Cycle utility for replacing or renaming Layers on the fly
- Addition
of search capabilities in Library Manager and the Make PostalCAD Layer
utilities
- hundreds of new
or revised library blocks

| The
PostalCAD 2006 release takes advantage
of the new
Autodesk Map 3D (2006)
development environment and includes many updated interfaces and
functionalities. Although most features in PostalCAD 2006 will run with
Autodesk 3D 2006 , the Transport Work utilities
will only work with
Autodesk Map 3D (2006).
User's must
upgrade or
convert their older installations to Autodesk
2006 or Autodesk Map 3D 2006 products in order
to install PostalCAD 2006. |
