Tip for Week 8/27/07

Almost all machinery on the workroom floor needs an array of carts to provide for a typical tour.  The MINSERT object is perfect for this type of  layout.

Each array of blocks created with the MINSERT command can take on their own properties, separate from one another.  Create an array of cart blocks using the MINSERT command and then make several copies.  Now, open the Properties palette and modify the number of blocks and spacing for each of the copies.  You now have a great set of objects that will be easier to manipulate for different tours than a whole bunch of separate blocks.

Buyer beware!  MINSERT objects cannot be exploded.  The Block Editor or REFEDIT can modify the individual block definitions in the array, but not the groupings.
