So, how else can I tell AutoCAD that
I'm done with a task other than using the Enter key?
The space bar acts just like the Enter
key unless you are in a text editor. A right-click will give you a
pop-up menu with an Enter or appropriate option.
A right-click will also give you a
return option if the Right Click Customization in the User Preferences tab
is set to time-sensitive or if the Enter option is active in the Command
Mode area of this dialogue box. Both of these options make a right click the
same as Enter or the Spacebar.
