Tip for Week 7/2/07

 
The layout tabs are basically a way to have print preview on all the time as you work.  The LWT button at the bottom of the AutoCAD window allows you to see the physical line weights before you print.  Depress this button and the line weights will appear. 

The deceiving thing about this interface option is when you use it in model space.  In model space the lines will appear wider, if there are wide line types, but they are not based on a set scale or paper size.  The widths that you see are only relative to one another.
