Here's a good tip for gaining some
more screen real estate to draw with.
Most commands only need a few characters to show at the
command line. Move some of the smaller docked toolbars, that are in a
horizontal configuration, to the right side of the command line window as a
floating toolbar. This area rarely sees any characters. Holding
down the control key when moving toolbars will force them to stay floating,
rather than docking. You may need to force this mode to place toolbars
on the command line area.
