Autodesk Map 3D 2006 comes with a
scale list oriented towards mapping files. This list of scales can be
changed to architectural scales by using the SCALELISTEDIT command.
The dialogue box allows you to add or delete any existing scale. The
formula for architectural scales is to set the Paper Units to a decimal
equivalent of the scale you want to use. By setting the Paper Units to
0.125 (1/8") and the Drawing Units to 12, you will have a scale of 1/8"=1'.
This utility makes it very easy to customize the list for only the scales
you use in day to day operations, not everything under the sun.
