Why do objects highlight when my
cursor passes over them in AutoCAD 2006?
The new selection option for highlighting objects before
they are picked can be turned off in the Selection tab of the Options
dialogue box. Go to this tab and uncheck "When no command is active"
in the Selection Preview area. Start with this one checked, and then
if you are still not feeling right by having it on when in a command,
un-check the "When a command is active" to turn this feature off all the
time.
