if you just installed Autodesk Map 3D
2006 and find the application window looking very different and want to
change the look back to the way the 2005 version looked, there are two steps
to take. First, type
in MAPSKINMAP at the command line. This is a system variable that will
change the silver and white look back to one that uses your Windows
settings.
Second, go to the View file menu
pull-down, expand the Menu/Toolbar Layout cascade and then choose Map
Classic to get your old set of pull-down menu's back.
