Tip for Week 11/7/05

The Revcloud command is an excellent tool for drawing a revision cloud around newly changed documents so that the reader can find any changes.  The arc size can be changed to be in proportion to the scale of the objects or the scale you will be printing very easily.  These symbols are usually drawn in red on most documents if possible.

A simple trick to help draw the boundary is to use an object, such as a rectangle, a circle, or a closed polyline.  Simply surround your change with any of these objects and use the Object option, which is the default if you issue a return at the first command prompt, to define the path for the revision cloud.

Better yet, once a revision cloud is drawn, you can modify the arc properties by setting the distances, and then pick the existing revision cloud polyline as the object.  In essence using the original command as the modifying command also!
