The Justifytext command will change
the justification of multiple pieces of text, but how can I resize them all
easily? The Textscale command in AutoCAD will allow you to scale
multiple pieces of text with some very handy options.
To start with, you have the option
to scale the text objects with the existing justification or by setting a
temporary override justification. This will help if the text is
already placed, but doesn't have the same justification. The next
prompt has some more useful options. At the "Specify new height or
[Match object/Scale factor] <1'>:" prompt, choose between typing in a number
for the height, match an existing piece of text, or issue a scale factor.
Wow! Just imagine combining the
Justifytext command with the Scaletext command in tables or in sets of room
numbers when you need to print at different scales. Major time and
frustration savers, to say the least!
