Why can't I purge that entity?
Many times the reason items cannot be purged is a fairly simple one. Open
the AutoCAD Purge dialogue box and pick the bullet button next to "View
items you cannot purge". The dialogue box switches to a view similar
to the one you see in the Design Center when the current drawing tab items
are showing. As you highlight the items in the list, a very helpful
hint appears at the bottom of the window explaining why that particular item
cannot be purged. This simple explanation is all you typically need to
figure out why the item cannot be purged.
