Tip for Week 3/28/05
|
| |
Heads up display is a term that has
been used around AutoCAD for several years now. The best example of
this is accessing the command line options of a command by right-clicking
the drawing window when a command that has those command line options is
available. Try issuing the Window command and then right-click and
selecting the previous listing instead of typing P for previous. This
gives you one handed use of AutoCAD. Be careful of your SHORTCUTMENU
variable that is stored in the Registry for how your time-sensitive
right-click occurs.
Future releases of AutoCAD and related products will be using this heads up
display in new ways to help you focus on the work area of the application
window rather than on it's perimeter.
