Is there a way to use the Pan command
in an Ortho type mode?
Sure, go to the View menu pull-down, highlight the Pan cascade and use the
Left, Right, Up or Down listing. This is a pre-set distance though.
The best method is to hold down the Shift key and press and hold the middle
wheel button at the same time. This trick works great for cleaning up
those paperspace viewports that aren't just quite right.
