Tip for Week 10/18/04
|
| |
Was that the Last or Previous object I
selected?
There are several hidden command line options available at the Select
Objects prompt. The Previous option can be used by typing P at the
Select Objects prompt. This selects the entire previous selection set
that was used in your drawing. If you use the Last option by typing L
at the Select Objects prompt, you will only select one of the objects you
picked in a multiple object selection set, not all objects, and not
necessarily the last one you picked. Some times this option will pick
the last in a selection set, and sometimes it will pick the first. Go
figure. If your previous selection set was only one object, either of
these two shortcuts will work alike by picking the same object again.
Or as Clint Eastwood would ask if he were a CAD user: "You have to ask
yourself, punk, did I pick one object or did I pick more." |
