Tip for Week 06/7/04

All PostalCAD installations default to the C:\PCAD folder.  The PCAD listing will be followed by the version number within the folder name.
The most important sub-folder here is the Support directory where PCAD will find most of the crucial files to run.  Should your PCAD menu pull-down not show when opening your AutoCAD version, type Options at the command line and open the Files tab.  If you don't have the C:\PCAD2004 or whichever version you are running at the top of the list, pick the add button and then browse.  Navigate to the correct C:\PCAD directory, highlight the Support directory and pick OK.  Now simply keep clicking the Move Up button until the new listing is at the very top.  This is very important in that PCAD must be the first directory for AutoCAD to recognize in order for all PCAD functions to work properly.  Close out the Options dialogue box and restart AutoCAD.  TaDa.  your PCAD pull-down will reappear and you're on your way again.
