Tip for Week 2/24/03

Hey, where did all my linetype scaling go?
This is a common question when most users begin to use Paperspace Viewports, or if you haven't used them in awhile.
If you are currently in Paperspace (Layout Tab) and your dashed lines no longer appear to be dashed in the Viewport(s) the PSLTSCALE (Paperspace Linetype Scale) variable is probably set to 1.  When this variable is set to 1 there will be no scaling of linetypes within Viewports.   If this variable is set to 0, the linetypes in Paperspace Viewports will be scaled proportionally using the current Viewport scale and appear the same as they do in Modelspace after a regeneration of the Viewport while in Modelspace mode.
Your linetype scaling can still be changed globally using the LTSCALE (LineType Scale) command. Just remember to update any changes to the LTSCALE variable with the REGEN or REGENALL command in the individual Viewport(s) afterwards.
